There have been many reports of teachers having sex with their pupils, and the latest of this type of case involves two high school teachers in Louisiana.

Rachel Respess, 24, and Shelley Dufresne, 32, face charges of one count of carnal knowledge and indecent behavior with a juvenile, which contributes to the delinquency of the adolescent. According to Fox News, the two have posted bail and left the prison on Thursday.

School authorities were tipped off about the incident when a student started bragging to his friends and classmates about having sex with the teachers. They reported the incident, which was confirmed by the Kenner police last Wednesday during the booking reports.

The two teachers, who are charged with sex abuse of one male student, both teach at the Desterhan High School located in St. Charles Parish in Louisiana, according to Huffington Post.

According to the police, the incident happened at Respess's apartment after the school's football game on Sept. 12.

It was confirmed that the three involved in the incident were together until the early morning of the following day.

The school authorities placed the two accused teachers on paid leave Friday, at the same time that the police authorities started their investigation.

Dufresne was arrested Tuesday and was brought to the St. Charles Parish jail. She posted a $200,000 bail in the evening of the same day. She was also accused of having sex with the same student in her home. Dufresne had been teaching at the Desterhan High School for 10 years, and is a mother of three. She is now under arrest and is not allowed to leave her residence except to attend church, go to her doctor's appointments and receive intensive treatment for mental health.

On the other hand, Rachel Respess is only in her second year of teaching at Desterhan. She voluntarily came to the police station last Wednesday.

Parents and other students are having a difficult time about the whole thing, as the community is a close-knit one.
