Nokia Lumia Icon Phone Review: Price, Camera and Other Need-to-Know Specs
Here's everything you need to know about the Nokia Lumia Icon.
The best parts:
The first notable feature of the Nokia Lumia Icon is the multi-featured camera. The 20 MP sensors with Zeiss optics and a dual LED flash render the camera is the best part of the phone; it is as if Windows has suddenly woken up from a long vacation from caring about its mobile apps department.
Meanwhile, rhe hardware is sleek yet robust, and the long battery life is typically Nokia.
The worst parts:
The 1080-pixel screen resolution does not do justice to the otherwise good display. The image quality has a long way to go.
Specs:
A Quad-core 2.2 GHz Krait 400 is decent enough for a Windows 8 phone. The Adreno 330 GPU has brought significant graphics improvement in the Nokia Lumia series.
The 5-inch screen has a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels with a Multitouch feature available.
All 2G, 3G and 4G networks are supported by the phone.
The 20 MP rear camera has a resolution of 4992x3744 pixels, and the front camera is 1.2 MP. This is paradise to mobile camera lovers.
The internal memory is 32 GB with 2 GB RAM. Unfortunately no external card slot is available.
Talking Points:
The Nokia Lumia Icon was released on February 2014 by Verizon in the U.S. The bad news for the Windows phone lovers of the world is that it is only available in U.S. because Verizon USA has the retail rights
Prices:
The Nokia Lumia Icon comes in a fairly cheap price of $99 or $99.99.
Conclusion:
Verizon customers who've ever fancied a a decent Windows phone have gotten what they wished for tenfold The Nokia Lumia Icon is arguably the best Windows phone yet, though, only for those in the U.S.
