Social media users and 'Teen Mom' fans have rallied against Jenelle Evans for allegedly abusing her newborn, Kaiser Griffith, the Hollywood Life reports.

Over 50 phone calls to Child Protection Services were made against the "Teen Mom" star after a photo of baby Kaiser with what appeared to be a black eye surfaced the Internet, claims THL.

The photo in question was posted Tuesday on Facebook by Evans' boyfriend's mother, Doris Jean Hewlett-Davidson.

Immediately following Davidson's Facebook post, social media users began questioning what the dark overcast around Kaiser's eye was. Then fans later accused Evans of child abuse.

Despite the calls to CPS, Evans laughed off the incident insisting that she would never abuse her child.

The Hollywood Life also supports Evans' statement that she did not abuse her newborn.

"You can clearly see that Kaiser does NOT have a black eye in any of his recent photos taken before or after the photo that grandma Doris shared. Quite frankly, it looks like just poor lighting and a bit of a shadow are the main culprit behind this adorable baby's "black eye," HL's Lauren Cox writes.

Though Evans' latest scandal might be a false alarm, it's no secret that Evans continuously makes headlines for her questionable parenting skills.

Last month, Evans was criticized by social media users for choosing to smoke around her children.

Similar to the "black eye" incident, social media users accused Evans of smoking near her children after she posted a photo of her child's father sleeping in the house next to a pack of cigarettes.

Evans quickly defended herself claiming that she only smokes outside of the house.

Still, fans slammed the reality star for choosing to smoke while breastfeeding, InTouch Weekly reports.
