Once you reach level 2 in "Destiny," you will be facing more difficult challenges, and before playing the new unlocked level Vault of Glass (level 26), you will need better weapons.

For end-game "Destiny" content what you need to do is to obtain gear with the attribute related to light. If you have enough weapons, it will be easier to go up to the other levels, which have harder versions of "Destiny's" "Strike" missions. Those in turn allow you to acquire better weapons.

It's not too hard as long as you use the right guide.

One of the things to remember is that you can equip several legendary items but you are only allowed to have one piece of exotic weapon equipped at a single time in addition to one piece of exotic armor, Tech Times reports.

Earn Marks (currency) by doing PVP or PVE content so you will be able to buy PVE gear, legendary PVP weapons and armor. You can also buy gear from Future War Cult, New Monarchy or Dead Orbit if you do not want Crucible or Vanguard gear.

Complete bounties so that you can gain exotic weapons, which are a step above legendary gear. But be sure about which bounty you choose to play as each bounty is tied to a specific type of exotic weapon.

If you play the "An Unknown Patron" bounty you are likely to receive a scout rifle, whereas "Light in the Dark" gives a hand cannon. A heavy machine gun is granted when you play "A Voice in the Wilderness" and you can get a pulse rifle from "Toland's Legacy." You get a shotgun when you play "A Dubious Task." A fusion rifle is available after you've done "Shattered Memory Fragment."

A mysterious vendor named Xur appears in the Tower only on weekends. You can also get exotic gear from him, although he only accepts Strange Coins. The coins appear randomly, although you are guaranteed to get three if you complete the weekly heroic missions.

Motes of Light drop at random as well. However, these are not like Strange Coins since they can only be gained after you have gone through several experience points past level 20 from completing missions and bounties. You can use the Motes of Light to get an exotic engram from Xur or purchase class-specific cosmetic gear from the Speaker.

Another way to get exotic gear is to go farming. Go to Moon or Earth and locate an area where there are lots of enemies and kill them all. You will then have the chance to pick up any gear that the enemies drop.

The loot drop rate in "Destiny" is consistent whether you are in a low level or higher level, but it is easier to wipe out large enemy groups when you are in a low level zone.
