Madden 15 Gameplay, Week 6 Player Ratings, & Roster on PS4, Xbox One: Which Week 6 Injuries Could Affect Madden Teams?
Victor Cruz is out for the season. Stevan Ridley is out for several weeks (at least), and Calvin Johnson is out for at least one to three weeks. That's a pretty big shakeup in the NFL, and Madden NFL 15 will see these injuries in the most recent roster update coming Friday.
Obviously, with Cruz out, the Giants will have to regroup. Cruz was the team's leader on the receiving end. In Madden 15, gamers will have to rely on rookie Odell Beckham Jr. Beckham is a fast and tall receiver that can step up, but he is no Victor Cruz. Passing with the Giants in Madden 15 could get much harder come this Friday.
The Patriots may be okay without Ridley. They have several running backs that they can use, and with Tom Brady, this team is always going to be firing on all cylinders. Shane Vereen should be able to fill Ridley's shoes pretty quickly.
With Calvin Johnson, the Lions are now left without their superstar. Second-stringer Golden Tate has got to step up immediately. Tight end Eric Ebron also will need to help out quarterback Matt Stafford. Passing should not change too much with Johnson out of the lineup for a couple weeks. Stafford is a talented and capable quarterback, and he should be able to find the open receiver, even without Johnson out there.
If you play with the Giants, Patriots or Lions, be prepared for some changes come Friday. How you adapt to these changes in Madden 15 will decide your ultimate success.
