Big Sean Hot New Song 2014: Rapper Confirms New Collaboration With Eminem [Watch]
Big Sean recently confirmed that a collaboration with fellow Detroit, Michigan-native emcee Eminem is in the works.
The G.O.O.D. Music rapper stopped by his hometown's radio station 97.1 The Ticket for WXYT-CBS Detroit on Wednesday to announce the exciting news to fans. "I know there was a photo you posted a while ago with Eminem -- collaboration coming up anytime soon?" host Mike Sullivan asked.
The hip-hop duo previously was rumored to be working together, as a photo of them taken in the studio emerged on Instagram. "Yes," Mr. Anderson responded. "You can expect a little something-something sooner or later."
The "Dance" hitmaker also claimed that his upcoming third studio album will be released either before the end of this year or early next year, and it will feature a few more "walk up" tracks.
Sean Don has actually been hinting his team-up with Slim Shady for quite a while now, even before his sophomore effort release. "Not yet, gotta make that happen, that might be the last thing I do, I wanted to make sure my album was completely done before I played it for him. I know a while ago he reached out," he told Rap-Up TV back in February.
According to Huffington Post, Big Sean was happy to hear that his Motor City hero was "impressed" with his then-unreleased album "Hall of Fame," which features several hits like "Beware," "Guap" and "Switch Up."
"That was just an honor," he said. "Coming from the D... that was the person that showed us that it was real, that showed us you could be the biggest in the world from where we from."
"He's a true OG, man, I don't know if there's any misconceptions about him but that dude is real polite, real nice," he also told Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club."
