Actress Blake Lively made her first public appearance Thursday since announcing she is pregnant and has the baby bump to match! Lively attended the God's Love We Deliver, Golden Heart Awards in New York City.

The "Gossip Girl" star was decked out in her signature long, blonde hair and a floor-length tulle lilac embroidered Michael Kors dress from his Resort 2015 collection.

"I'm going to amp up my style by wearing things that are stretchier, cause that's all that fits!" she joked at the event when she spoke with Us Weekly.

This will be Lively and husband Ryan Reynold's first child together. The actors met when they co-starred in the 2010 comic-book film "Green Lantern," and the pair married in a secret ceremony in 2012. The duo announced they were expecting with a photo reveal on Lively's Preserve website on Oct. 6.

"Preserve at its core is about family. 'Family' is the single word our founder Blake built this home on," the editorial team at Preserve wrote. "With family on our mind, we looked to the origin of it all-to the women in our lives who are right there, at that special moment; at the creation of family. ... Congratulations to all the expecting mothers out there. And thank you for being a part of our Preserve family."

However, Lively attended the Oct. 16 event without her husband.

The "Age of Adaline" actress also posted online about looking forward to being a new mom and "experiencing the joy of 3 a.m. screams, seemingly impossible amounts of poop and having a favorite shirt covered in reflux."

When asked if her family life had prepared her for parenthood, Lively told E! News this:

"I came from a big family ... a big family of Southerners. I feel like I've always sorta ... I'm the youngest of five, so I never raised any siblings below me, but I'm always the person who's taking everyone else's kid and putting them on my hip, so I've kinda always been a mama. So we'll see."
