"Star Trek" has spawned the Klingons and their dialect, the J. R.R. Tolkien novels and "The Hobbit" films have elvish language, and now "Game Of Thrones" is bringing its viewers and fans the Dothraki language. The Dothraki language is spoken by the nomadic people on the hit HBO TV series "Game Of Thrones."

This week the Dothraki language was made available on Apple iOS devices. The Dothraki dialect got its origins from George R. R. Martin's book series "Game Of Thrones." The books and the TV series have become so popular -- like "Star Trek" and "The Hobbit" -- speaking the language of some its characters is a dedication and love for both genres.

The story of "Game Of Thrones." Based on the book series of the same name, it tells the epic tale of kings, queens and commoners who exist in a fantasy realm. These royal and desperate forces are all striving to rule the world. But the less ambitious tribe, the Dothraki, are not concerned with domination, CNET reported.

The Dothraki are horse riders that roam the Dothraki Sea -- a long and broad stretch of grassland. Their tribes called Khalasars are interested in raiding, enslaving and speaking in their native tongue, Dothraki, CNET reported.

There is an app for Dothraki. The app provides one with a comprehensive guide to speaking the fictional tongue; also pronunciation, access to over 500 vocabulary words, grammar and dialogue. And it teaches useful verbs such as, "erolat," which means "to learn," CNET reported.

The app also provides the user with key Dothraki phrases such as, "Hash yer dothrae chek?" which means "How are you?"; and "Anha zhilak yera," which means, "I love you. Aww," CNET reported.

The Dothraki Companion app is made up of 15 thematic flashcards with more than 300 Dothraki words, including grammar tutorials, audio samples and interactive games, The Independent reported.

Author George R. R. Martin created the language, but David Peterson developed it for the TV series. Peterson had to return to Martin's original story "Song of Ice and Fire" novels in order to fully comprehend the fictional dialect, The Independent reported. Peterson is excited about the use of learning language and especially learning Dothraki.

"It doesn't really matter if the language is invented or a natural language -- you kind of treat it the same way. You start small and you build," Peterson said. "It's the best thing in the world learning a language, it's the most fun."

Peterson like Martin has put in a lot of work in creating this fictional language. Peterson created the high and low Valyrian tongues spoken on the TV series. And he has created over 4,000 Dothraki words, CBS News reported. For this app and course Peterson went and created even more.

How much does it cost to speak Dothraki? The app itself costs $3.99. The basic course -- with a book and CD -- goes for $19.99. An extensive online course costs $30.00, CBS News reported. The Dothraki Living Language is already available.

There is also a free language lesson sample available on the website that could help "Game Of Thrones" -- the Dothraki fans -- get a head start.
