Former ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ Star Nicholas Brendon Arrested in Idaho
Nicholas Brendon -- best known for his role as Xander Harris in the hit television series, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" -- was arrested in Idaho on Friday for resisting a police officer's orders and causing "malicious injury to property" at a local hotel, TMZ reports.
Brendon was reportedly in Boise, Idaho, for Comic Con, according to TMZ reps. He stayed at a nearby hotel for his attendance at Comic con and police later found Brendon drunk and belligerent in the hotel lobby.
According to TMZ, police were called to the hotel at around 10 p.m. "after witnesses reported a disturbance in the lobby involving Nicholas and hotel staffers."
Police ordered Brendon to stay seated while they spoke with the witnesses. However, Brendon was allegedly so intoxicated and refused to obey the officer's orders. Instead, the 43-year-old actor got up and walked away, according to TMZ.
At the time of the incident, Brendon also allegedly broke a decorative dish that was placed in the lobby, and hotel staffers threatened to press charges.
Brendon has since been released on bond, and his rep tells TMZ that Brendon apologizes for his behavior.
"It would be extremely helpful, if we could all put this misunderstanding behind us and focus on more positive things," Brendon's rep added.
Brendon's team also took to Twitter to update the actor's 83,000 fans on his progress since his arrest.

This isn't the first time Brendon was arrested for his belligerent behavior while intoxicated, the Daily Mail reports.
In 2010, Brendon was arrested and faced four misdemeanor charges stemming from an altercation with Los Angeles police while he was drunk.
He later entered rehab following his drunk altercation in 2010.
