Eiza Gonzalez Slams Publications That Confused Her For Naked Wax Figure
Eiza Gonzalez shared a picture with a woman, who was shot from the back, wearing nothing but an underwear and blood.
Publications then went on to say that Gonzalez was naked and covered in blood, but this wasn't the case. The image actually depicted a wax figure from Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights, and Gonzalez made sure people knew that the media was wrong.
"Just so that you can see that journalism is exaggerated!" she said. "That's not me. It's a wax doll from Halloween Horror Nights."
And from then, she went on to express her disdain for celebrity journalism. She said she hoped people saw her messages, so they could see how the media has gotten worse, especially because publications do not confirm information.
The doll was actually based on her character, Santanico Pandemonium, on "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series."
"Anyone can write journalism now that it's always erroneous," she said. "Everything is invented, everything is manipulated. It's an embarrassment that these are the mouthpieces."
"And there's no longer any obligation to transmit confirmed info!" she continued in another tweet. "It is unbelievable that they would even confuse me with a wax doll!"
Another rumor that recently upset the actress was one about her possibly returning to telenovelas.
She was supposedly in talks to star in a new show, but she cleared up the rumors on Twitter and said that she hadn't talked to anyone. She also asked people not to lie.
One bit of information that is true for Gonzalez is that she hopes to become a United States citizen.
"Yes, I'm definitely going to do it," she said. "I love the states, so I'm happy living here."
She also said that she used to be afraid of snakes but having worked with them so much on "From Dusk Till Dawn: The series" has made the fear go away.
