A trip to a forensic science convention quickly turns sour after the Jeffersonian team discovers the remains of a murder victim in the next all-new episode of "Bones."

In the upcoming episode, which is titled "The Corpse at the Convention," Brennan will deliver a keynote address at a convention, where she and her team are treated like celebrities.

However, the team will stumble upon the remains of a body in a stairwell at the convention. Plus, things will get awkward when they learn that evidence points to Dr. Hodgins as a suspect in the case and they are forced to prove that he is innocent.

In the meantime, Brennan will also run into her publishing rival, Tess Brown, while squintern Wendell Bray will return to work after being diagnosed with cancer.

"Bones" executive producer Stephen Nathan opened up about the new episode, telling reporters, "We're going to be doing a murder at a forensics convention filled with forensic experts. How did we not do that before? But really and over nine years that we never have, so we've got a new one," reports the Examiner.

According to Carter Matt, the official synopsis reads as follows:

"The Jeffersonian team attends a forensic science convention with Brennan delivering the keynote speech, only to discover the remains of a body in a stairwell at the convention. With numerous convention attendees offering help and their products, evidence points to Dr. Hodgins as a suspect and the team has to find a way to prove his innocence. Meanwhile, Brennan runs into her publishing rival, Tess Brown (guest star Nora Dunn) and 'squintern' Wendell Bray (guest start Michael Grant Terry) has news about his cancer diagnosis and returns to work with Jeffersonian team."

Season 10 of "Bones" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. "The Corpse at the Convention" airs Oct. 30.
