Although Lorenza seems to have given Esmeralda and Pablo her blessing so that they can be together, it's eventually revealed that she's not giving in that easily. She and Monica have something up their sleeves. (Catch up on episodes 36-40 here.)

Here's what episodes 41-45 will bring.

Episode 41: Esmeralda might soon find out who her parents are. El Silencioso and Fela want to tell her the news. One thing hasn't changed, though. Monica continues to be mean to Esmeralda by insulting her. Pablo asks her to respect the mother of his children.

Episode 42: Lorenza blames Pablo for Agustin's delicate health. And though that may not be true, Agustin does not want to know anything about Pablo. El Silencioso receives test results about Fela's health, and it doesn't look like it's good news.

Episode 43: Esmeralda wants to leave Pablo. Monica has declared war on Esmeralda, and she vows to steal him from her once again. And Esmeralda just can't seem to catch a break, as she is going to receive bad news about her family. Plus, Gisella is going to try to win Pablo's heart, too.

Episode 44: Pablo and Mariano are both in love with Esmeralda, and the two are now against each other. Mariano is willing to do what he can to win Esmeralda's love. But Esmeralda thinks that Mariano only wants to be friends, and it's not until she speaks to La Jarocha that Esmeralda realizes that Mariano has real feelings for her.

Episode 45: Pablo surprises Esmeralda by asking for another chance. Fela continues to act confused. She goes to the Martinez Negrete's home and takes flowers from their property, which is when Lorenza sees her and yells at her. She ends up offending Fela.
