Mortal Kombat X News, Show, and Release Date: Popular Characters Coming to T.V.
The popularity of Mortal Kombat is increasing everyday. From just video games to comic books and now a live-action digital series.
Mortal Kombat will soon appear as an online live-action series. Warner Bros. will be working on the series that will feature popular characters from the Mortal Kombat X video game.
Not many details are available on the live-action series besides that it is coming out. Just how gamers will be able to watch it is also unknown, but it will likely be available online and through gamers' consoles.
More characters confirmed?
Here are the characters that we know for sure are going to be in the game according to Digital Times: Goro (if you pre-order the game), Kano, Cassie Cage, Raiden, Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Quan-Chi. The new fighters list will include Kotal Kahn, Ferra & Torr and D'Vorah.
Mortal Kombat creator Edward Boon has hinted that Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade will make it into the game. Even extra character Freddy Krueger could make it into the game.
There is plenty of time for Boon to tease gamers with more possible characters. The game comes out April 15, 2015. Currently, Boon has been confirming characters that will not be in the game on Twitter.
Some fatalities revealed:
Perhaps the most gruesome yet exciting part of Mortal Kombat X is the fatality. This is the part of the game where you get to use your fighter's special techniques and absolutely demolish your opponent's body.
Scorpion's fatality, according to Mortal Kombat X producer Erin Piepergerdes, is particularly gruesome.
He blows a hole in his opponent's chest, the heart falls out and then he slices off their face. Pretty intense, right? That's just one of the many fatalities you can look forward to in the next Mortal Kombat game.
