Oscar de la Renta Death: Sara Carbonero Debuts New Tattoo for Son, Honors Late Fashion Designer
Spanish beauty Sara Carbonero showed off a stunning look for the Elle Style photocall.
The sports reporter honored Oscar de la Renta by wearing one of his designs.
The black gown was sultry and simple, and Carbonero was minimally accessorized. She wore gray sandals and had her hair up in a ponytail.
Another noticeable thing about her look was her new tattoo.
On her arm, she had a small tattoo that said "sunshine."
The word is Iker Casilla's hashtag choice when he talks about their son, making the tattoo that much sweeter.
"It's my thing," she said. "It's a very small thing, and I don't have to show everything that I do."
She took to her Elle blog to talk about the event.
Carbonero explained there were a few dress choices, but she couldn't think of a better way to pay tribute to de la Renta than by wearing one of his designs.
As an ambassador for Agatha Paris, Carbonero also chose to wear pieces of jewelry from the brand.
She said getting ready for the event was difficult as she only had one hour to get ready.
Her blog post had pictures of everything from the food she ate to the choices of wardrobe she had.
Carbonero was recently asked about whether or not Casillas would be leaving Real Madrid. There were rumors that if he left that she would be willing to leave Madrid as well, but she didn't want to talk about it. She explained that she had no interest in talking about those topics, but she did talk about her son, Martin.
She said that in many ways her son resembled Casillas.
"His personality is very similar to his dad's," she said. "He's dumber. More dumb than me, anyway. Although, when I was younger I was like all children. I was a little pest."
