Amanda Bynes will not be released from psychiatric care just yet.

The actress psychiatric hold has been extended for an additional 30 days, notes People. Doctors told the judge that they didn't believe Bynes was healthy enough to be released.

Bynes entered the facility on Oct. 10, and on Oct. 13, the 72-hour hold was extended to two weeks.

In late September, Bynes was arrested on a DUI charge in Sherman Oaks, Calif., notes CNN.

She was seen driving her white Mercedes Benz SUV, and she stopped at an intersection when there was a red light. She failed field sobriety tests, but she was cooperative throughout the process.

She also accused her father of abuse.

Bynes said her father would call her ugly and ask if she wanted to have sex with him. She deleted the tweets that continued to accuse him of inappropriate behavior.

"My dad fondled himself in front of me so many times that I started recording him on my phone in hopes of catching him saying or doing something inappropriate around me so I could get him arrested and put in jail for the rest of his perverted life," Bynes said.

The actress' mother, Lynn Organ, released a statement which denied Bynes' allegations. She explained that she was heartbroken and that what Bynes said was far from the truth.

Bynes eventually took back the comments.

"My dad never did any of those things. The microchip in my brain made me say those things but he's the one that ordered them to microchip me," she said.

Bynes was under her parent's care after she went to rehab last year. Her parents are reportedly looking to Britney Spears' father, Jamie Spears, for help.

"Amanda's parents are very worried and they got in touch with Jamie via mutual friends as he'd been through something similar," a source said. "Jamie told them not to blame themselves and suggested they have counselling. He's offered to help in any way he can."
