Tasha Smith-an actress who appeared in numerous Tyler Perry productions-was recently court-ordered to stay two yards away from her husband Keith Douglas who she currently lives with, TMZ reports.

When Smith and Douglas are not in the house together, Smith is required to stay 100 yards away from her husband, according to TMZ.

Smith's court-order follows Douglas' court filing that claims Smith threatened to end his life on two separate occasions, says E! News.

"I fear for my own life as well as the living environment that our daughter has to see due to excessive amount of arguments we have over the course of the past two years," Douglas states in his court filing.

Douglas also claims that Smith threatened to "f**k me over" in front of their children while the family was out to dinner for his birthday on Oct. 29. Smith allegedly drank an excessive amount of alcohol on the night of Douglas' birthday and told him to "not fall asleep or something will happen."

Later on Nov. 2, Smith allegedly demanded Douglas to leave the house. Douglas claims that Smith "pushed me and to avoid any further physical conflicts I left and locked myself in a different room. I called the police in order to find out what to do next, in turn they advised I get a restraining order."

Now that Douglas' temporary restraining order against Smith has been granted, the couple must attend a court hearing scheduled for Nov. 24 to determine whether Douglas' move-out order against Smith will be granted, E! News reports.

TMZ reports that a source close to Smith claims that the actress has no issues with alcohol. However, Smith's official reps have yet to comment on the incident.

E! News reports that Smith's acting credits include, "Jumping the Broom,"  "Couples Retreat," "For Better or Worse,"  Tyler Perry's "Meet the Browns," "Why Did I Get Married?"  and "Why Did I Get Married Too."
