People En Español Stars of the Year: Angelique Boyer, Sebastian Rulli & William Levy Among Fan-Voted Winners
The people have spoken, and they have chosen the biggest Latino stars of 2014.
People En Español has released its 2014 Stars of the Year winners, and the most popular celebrities in the world of Latin music and TV were declared the winners. The winners were chosen by fan votes.
Sebastián Rulli won Best Actor for his work in "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó," and it isn't the only award the Argentine actor won. He and Angelique Boyer, his co-star on the hit novela, were chosen as the couple with the best on-screen chemistry. Months after the show ended, the two actors revealed they were dating.
"I want to thank my fans very much for voting for me as the lead actor for 2014," Rulli said. "I send you all a big kiss. Thank you."
"Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" was also chosen as the best telenovela of the year.
The biggest winner was Enrique Iglesias.
"Bailando," which is his 25th No. 1 song, won for Best Video of the Year. "El Perdedor" served as the theme song to "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó," and it ended up being named the Best Theme Song for a Telenovela and the Best Song of the Year.
And it wasn't just celebrities who work for a Spanish-speaking audience who were awarded.
William Levy, for example, was named the most stylish man. Eiza Gonzalez, who has also crossed over to Hollywood, also won an award for her style. She was name the most trendy.
Jennifer Lopez's style was the most impressive of the year, as the Puerto Rican singer was named Queen of the Red Carpet.
One of the names the Latino public is sure to see more of in the future is Danilo Carrera. The Ecuadorian was named best newcomer.
