Remember "Mike Tyson's Punchout" for Nintendo? The old school Nintendo? One character from that game is coming back to life and will be inserted into "Super Smash Bros." for Wii U.

That character was an underweight nobody named Little Mac. Mac was just 4-foot-8 and 107 pounds in the NES version of "Punch Out" and only 17 years old. Now, for modern games he has been updated to be 5-foot-7 but still only 107 pounds.

In "Smash Bros.," Little Mac looks huge. His muscles are big and he looks tough. Gamers would think he would be the best character to use, because after all, he is a boxer.

Unfortunately, in early gameplay for "Smash Bros.," Mac is being given a very low win ratio. This means he rarely beats the other characters. So a little tiny Pikachu mouse thing can destroy a professional boxer?

"It appears that the biggest reason for his low win ratio is because people fall under the assumption that 'Little Mac is strong!' and all rush to use him only to get pummeled in return," "Smash Bros." creator Masahiro Sakurai said.

But, Little Mac is strong isn't he? Sure, for his small stature he is strong.

Compared to someone like Link with sword skills or one of the Mario characters with their jumping and evasion tactics, Little Mac stands no chance. Remember, Little Mac only excels at boxing and dodging, not jumping and grappling.

It makes sense that Little Mac is one of the weakest characters in the game. Compared to a dinosaur like Yoshi that could probably eat Little Mac in one bite, Mac looks like the least ideal character in the game.

Perhaps Little Mac's skills get upgraded, but for now he's just an undersized wannabe boxer.

What do you think about Little Mac in "Super Smash Bros.?" Can he fight with the big boys?
