Duchess Kate Middleton and Prince William Pregnancy Update: Duke and Duchess to Have Baby Girl
A new report by sources close to the Duchess reveal that she may be carrying a girl this time around. Ever since the announcement of her second pregnancy there has been speculation as to the new baby's gender. If it proves to be true, Prince George will have a baby princess sister to play with.
According to Hollywood Life, sources close to the Duchess of Cambridge revealed to Life and Style magazine that the royal couple will have a girl. The source adds that she and the Prince William are "both thrilled." Queen Elizabeth II, the baby's soon-to-be great-grandmother, "loves the idea of Kate and William having a boy and a girl."
The source adds that Duchess Kate could begin planning her new nursery soon but she will not be using the traditional pink for girls.
"Kate wants more neutral palettes like creams and beiges," the source explained.
However, the Duchess, who suffers from acute morning sickness, has not revealed much. Her brother, on the other hand, has given more information about his sister's well being.
The Telegraph reports that James Middleton went to ABC's "Good Morning America" to promote a new company he has started, but the conversation turned to his sister, focusing on her improving health.
"She's better. It's not unknown she's suffering from acute morning sickness, fortunately I think she's on the mend," he told Amy Robach. He then reminisced about the birth of his nephew.
"I still see Prince George as my nephew and want to be the best uncle possible. Like any uncle I want to be the cool uncle, I want to be the fun uncle, what shall we get him for Christmas this year, how can we stand out...," he said.
