"Scandal" star Scott Foley welcomed his third child with his wife and "Brothers & Sisters" actress, Marika Dominczyk on Thursday, Nov. 13, Us Weekly reports.

Foley and Dominczyk welcomed their second son which they named Konrad Foley. Konrad now joins his two other siblings, Malina, 4, and son Keller, 2 as the newest addition to the Foley family.

On Wednesday, almost a week after his wife gave birth, Foley took to Twitter to thank fans and his loved ones for the well wishes on he and Dominczyk's new baby.

Prior to Konrad's birth, Foley revealed during a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel that he and Dominczyk enjoy the element of surprise when it comes to finding out the sex of their baby, E! News reports.

"We don't find out the sex of the child until it's actually born, so my job is to say, 'It's a...! [in the delivery room],'" Foley explained.

He also admitted that his family and friends tend to get "really upset" and him and his wife for choosing to not know the gender of their children prior to the birth.

"People are really upset because they want to give you gifts, and it is completely opposite of what most people would want. They want to plan it out. They want to know exactly what's going to happen," he said. "And they really take out their sort of compulsions on you. It's not friendly," he revealed.

Now that the new baby has arrived, Foley and Dominczyk will most likely bicker all while getting little to no sleep.

In addition to revealing his preference for baby gender surprise, Foley also revealed that he and his wife argue because they get very little sleep during the first six months after his wife's gives birth.

"Our relationship the first six months is based solely on guilt ... We always have the conversation, like, 'OK, we don't both need to be up in the middle of the night. One of us should get some sleep so the other one can take care of the other two kids,'" Foley explained. "But I know that if I don't get up with her in the middle of the night, the next day she's going to be so tired that she's going to complain."
