BioWare's 'Dragon Age: Inquisition' Review: Video Game Delivers Beautiful Vistas, Immersive Fantasy Role-Playing
When "Dragon Age: Origins" came out, gamers were excited about the new, fantasy role-playing game series. In the newest installment, "Dragon Age: Inquisition," you aren't simply a leader of merry adventurers, but the catalyst at the center of a large-scale movement to bring order to a land ravaged civil war and political strife, reports IGN.
"Dragon Age: Inquisition," the newest installment of the epic role-playing series, begins with a cataclysmic event that sends the land of Thedas into chaos. Dragons darken the sky. Mages rush to war against the evil Templars. As nations rise against one another, you and your band of legendary heroes lead the Inquisition by hunting down the agents of chaos and restoring order.
BioWare's "Inquisition" uses the power of Frostbite 3 to bring players an enormous, stunning world with what seems an endless supply of sandboxes. While there is a chaotic war raging around you at all times, you cannot help but notice the realistic and beautiful vistas that make this game stand out from the rest.
The Canadian video game developer promised more natural and realistic relationships between characters, and they delivered. Players will be able to partake in partial nudity, sexual dialogue and hook-ups in "Dragon Age: Inquisition."
The spiced-up sexuality proved too much for India who banned the video game due to its breach of content laws.
Rated M for Mature, gamers can expect blood, intense violence, nudity, sexual content and strong language. The game also includes online features that may expose players to unrated user-generated content.
"Dragon Age: Inquisition" was released Tuesday, Nov. 18. It is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC users. You can buy the Standard Edition for $59.99 or the Deluxe Edition $69.99, reports Gamestop.
The Deluxe Edition includes the Flames of the Inquisition Armor and the Flames of the Inquisition Weapons Arsenal, which also includes a valiant steed, the Armored Mount, complete with its own set of Inquisition Armor.
