American Music Awards 2014 Schedule & Streaming: Find Out Who's Performing & Where to Watch The Pitbull-Hosted Event
Sunday's American Music Awards promises to be a big blowout celebrating a wide range of genres including pop, R&B, Latin and EDM among nominees and performers. The show will be hosted by Cuban rapper and "Fireball" singer, Pitbull.
The show, which will be broadcast live from Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre on Nov. 23, will air on ABC. The actual show will kick off at 8 p.m. ET. Those who don't prefer to watch the show online can do so at Yahoo Live, TheAMAs.com and ABC.com starting at 5 p.m. ET, according to International Business Times.
Leading the nominees with six nominations is Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, with John Legend, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams tied for second with five nominations each. Lorde, the 18-year-old singer from New Zealand, has four nominations herself.
Other artists with multiple award nominations include Beyonce, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, Bastille, Drake, Luke Bryan, Sam Smith, OneRepublic and One Direction.
Taylor Swift, whose platinum-selling album "1989" will earn her the Dick Clark Award of Excellence, will debut with a performance of her new single "Blank Space" to kick off the show.
Clark's widow, Kari Clark, said that "the first time Dick saw Taylor perform, he knew she was something special."
Besides Swift, many other artists across the board will perform at the AMAs, including Mary J. Blige, 5 Seconds of Summer, Garth Brooks, Charli XCX, Fergie, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Imagine Dragons, Jessie J, Lil Wayne, Lorde, Magic!, Nicki Minaj, One Direction and Sam Smith.
Other actors, artists and musicians who will present various categories of the fan-voted awards include "Orange Is the New Black's" Uzo Aduba, Jhene Aiko, Elizabeth Banks, Aloe Blacc, Lauren Cohan, Gavin DeGraw, Ansel Elgort, Jamie Foxx, Becky G, Brantley Gilbert, Danai Gurira, Lucy Hale, Ella Henderson, Julianne Hough, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Kira Kazantsev, Heidi Klum, Mary Lambert, Rose McGowan, Danica McKellar, Pat Monahan of the band Train, Olivia Munn, Kevin O'Leary, Tracee Ellis Ross, Taylor Schilling and Meghan Trainor.
