This year's WWE Survivor Series returns to its roots, featuring the traditional "Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team" matches that helped launch the event. With WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar not involved in the card, jobs and control of the company will be on the line Sunday night with John Cena leading his team of disgruntled WWE superstars going up against Triple H's squad, led by Kane and Seth Rollins, as they look to put their malcontent employees in the place.

Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team match: Alicia Fox, Emma, Naomi and Natalya vs. Paige, Cameron, Layla and Summer Rae
While the match can be considered filler, the divas Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team match could serve the purpose of further advancing Natalya's storyline of the marital problem's she is have with Tyson Kidd -- which has been showcased on both the E!'s "Total Divas" show and on Monday Night Raw.

With Kidd, who may end up being a deciding-factor in the match, seen flirting with Layla and Summer Rae, the former Funkadactyl's Naomi and Cameron still feuding as well as Paige's problems with her BFF Alicia Fox, Paige's team seems likely to stand tall over Alicia Fox's squad at the end of the night.

WWE Divas Championship Match: AJ Lee (c) vs Nikki Bella
WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee will also be in action Sunday night defending championship against Nikki Bella, who has sent her personal assistant, Brie Bella, to attack the champ on various occasions. AJ has tried to be understanding of Brie's predicament that she is dealing with, being forced into her sister's servitude after losing her Hell in a Cell match last month against Nikki. But with Brie softening up AJ for Nikki, both attacking her at various points and battling her in non-title matches, AJ is losing patience with the sisters. Brie will likely play a factor in her sister's match, possibly interfering against Nikki as payback for being humiliated throughout the month by her sibling and allowing for AJ to keep her title.

WWE World Tag Team Title Fatal Fourway Match: Stardust & Goldust (c) vs The Usos vs The Miz & Damien Sandow vs Los Matadores
The WWE Tag Team Titles will also be on the line as the champions, Stardust and Goldust, will also put their titles on the line, in a Fatal Fourway bout against Los Matadores, The Miz and Damien Sandow, and The Usos. The Miz and Sandow have been having communication issues, so they may end up getting in each others way, possibly causing a disruption for the other teams looking to capture Stardust's and Goldust's "Cosmic Key," allowing them to retain their championships.

Dean Ambrose vs Bray Wyatt
Dean Ambrose is not looking for championship title but rather revenge against Bray Wyatt, who has taken it upon himself to "save" "The Lunatic Fringe." Wyatt interfered in Ambrose's match at Hell in a Cell and has since waged a psychological war against Ambrose that has left him more unhinged than usual. Ambrose wants revenge so badly, his rage may blind him enough to give "The Man of 1,000 Truths" the win.

Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team match: Team Cena (John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, The Big Show, Erick Rowan and Ryback) vs Team Authority (Seth Rollins, Kane, Mark Henry, United States Champion Rusev and Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper)
With control of the company out of The Authority's grasp should their team lose Sunday night, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H added a late-minute stipulation to the bout on Friday Night SmackDown to try and dissuade those helping John Cena: should their team lose, everyone but Cena will be fired.

While members of Cena's team seem to be riding with the former champion, it does add a new dynamic to the match. Rusev will likely take his first pin on Sunday, while former tag team partners The Big Show and Henry may get themselves disqualified as well as former Wyatt Family clansmen Harper and Rowan. That may leave Cena and Ziggler alone against Kane and Rollins, with the two former champions overcoming the odds and shedding the WWE Universe of the The Authority's ironfisted rule over the WWE Universe.

You can catch "Survivor Series" at 8 p.m. EST on the WWE Network or calling your cable operator for the view event.
