Madden 15 Player Rankings and Gameplay: Monday Night Football Roster Updates Released
Sunday afternoon saw perhaps a preview of this year's Big Game between the Green Bay Packers and the New England Patriots.
Two elite quarterbacks in the NFL faced off Sunday afternoon in Green Bay, Wisconsin: Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady and Rodgers came out on top.
Aaron Rodgers is now a 99 rated player in Madden NFL 15. That's a perfect score. He played great again on Sunday. No interceptions and 368 yards and a victory over Tom Brady is pretty impressive.
Brady on the other hand did not look like himself. He is rated a 97 in Madden 15 but he was off Sunday afternoon. Although he did not throw any picks there were some close calls and also some balls that he threw into the ground. His 97 ranking could go down to 95 or 96. His awareness rating, which is currently a 99, should probably be downgraded by two or three points.
Packers' running back Eddie Lacy continues to pound the ball up the middle and to the outside. He's rated at only an 87 overall rating and only a 75 awareness rating. These both should be upgraded since he has been winning awards lately for his efforts.
Elsewhere in the league, the mighty Arizona Cardinals were upset by the disappointing Atlanta Falcons. The Cardinals have been surprising the league all year with their 9 wins. Sunday's loss to Atlanta was their third overall loss. All of their losses came on the road.
Atlanta's defense limited the Cardinals to only 35 yards rushing. Marion Grice was the team's lead rusher, running five times for 16 yards. Grice is just a rookie and has only 11 carries all season for 29 yards. Madden 15 rates him just a 71 overall but gives him an 86 speed rating. He probably will retain those ratings.
What do you think of the Madden rankings? Does Rodgers deserve a 99 overall? Does bRady deserve a 97? Why or why not?
