On Tuesday, singer Haylie Duff, who is also the sister of singer/actress Hilary Duff, took to Instagram to announce that she and her fiance, Matt Rosenberg, were expecting their first child together.

In the Instagram photo, which features a set of baby pink Jordans, Duff also hinted at the sex of her child and later confirmed the baby's gender on her blog, "The Real Girl's Kitchen," People reports.

"Today we have big, exciting, wonderful, magical, amazing news!" Duff wrote. "Matty and I are expecting a baby girl! Entering this new chapter of our lives and our relationship has been so special. We are so happy and so in love with her already!!!"

That same day, Duff posted a second Instagram photo of her dog resting on her baby bump.

Her fans immediately flooded Duff's timeline with congratulations messages for the mother-to-be.

Duff also gushed about having her first child with Rosenberg to People, saying, "Matt and I are so excited to be expecting our first child. We can't wait to start a family of our own."

Duff's sister Hilary also shared her excitement over becoming an aunt on Twitter. Check out Hilary's tweet below.

Us Weekly reports that Duff and Rosenberg got engaged earlier this year on April Fools' Day.

Following Rosenberg's proposal, Duff took to social media to announce the news to her fans and express her excitement over the proposal.

Like her pregnancy, Duff shared the news on her "The Real Girl's Kitchen" blog and described the proposal as "genuine and sweet."

"We are so excited and happy to share our wonderful news with everyone!" she continued. "We both feel so blessed to have the love and support of our family and friends and can't wait to start this new adventure!"

News of Duff's pregnancy comes just two weeks following her anniversary celebration with Rosenberg in Hawaii, Us Weekly reports.
