A 15 second clip for the new "Terminator: Genisys" movie has been leaked to bolster anticipation for the official trailer release on Thursday, Dec. 3, reports Enstars.

In the clip, the Terminator's metal exoskeleton with blood red eyes is seen dissolving into ash. The mask of the machine fades into darkness and the Genisys logo emerges with an intense score in the backdrop.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alan Taylor are directing the newest Terminator installment in which Jai Courtney will be playing Kyle Reese, Emilia Clarke will be playing Sarah Connor, and Jason Clarke has the role of John Connor. Sandrine Holt ("House of Cards") will portray Detective Cheung who arrests Sarah and Kyle when they arrive in 2017.

"Terminator: Genisys" will flash back to the first two films in the series on occasion in the plot by way of time travel scenes.

Excerpts of the film's screenplay available online reveal that Sarah Connor will be very different from the character fans have come to know. No longer is Sarah meek or clueless about her destiny as John Conner's mother or the war against Skynet. The new Sarah will be raised by an older T-800, played by Schwarzenegger, and aware of her destiny since age 9.

Co-producer David Ellison talked with Entertainment Weekly about Sarah's character. "Since she was 9 years old, she has been told everything that was supposed to happen," Ellison said. "But Sarah fundamentally rejects that destiny. She says, 'That's not what I want to do.' It's her decision that drives the story in a very different direction."

The most interesting spoiler: the cyborg will age. The Terminator won't defy mortality in this film.

"The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath," Schwarzenegger told Enstars. "It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages."

The 67-year-old actor hinted that multiple cyborgs would appear in the film.

"Terminator 5" is scheduled for release in July 2015.
