'Parenthood' Season 6 Recap & Spoilers: Will One of the Bravermans Die?
Speculation continues to swirl that one of the stars of NBC's "Parenthood" will die before the sixth and final season of the drama series comes to an end.
A number of clues hint that someone's life will come to an end on the drama series. For instance, a rep from the show confirmed to BuzzFeed News that Sarah Ramos will reprise her role as Haddie during the series finale. Although no further information about Haddie's return has been provided, a family death may be the reason why the college student decides to take a break at Cornell University and make a return visit home.
Back in May, show creator Jason Katims told BuzzFeed News that he would like the final season to tackle the "circle of life."
Further evidence that there may be a death in the family was presented in the last episode, "Lean In," which ended with a suspenseful cliffhanger as Zeek awoke from his sleep with chest pains and was in need of an ambulance, reports Entertainment Weekly.
The show also released an ominous preview video for the next episode, revealing that Zeek will get bad news about his health while he's in the hospital.
"Your heart is just not strong," a doctor tells Zeek in the promo.
Bustle is also confident that the Braverman clan will suffer from a death in the family, however they suspect that the writer's may put a twist in the storyline, and kill off with Kristina or Camille.
Camille "like Zeek, is elderly. Her passing, like Zeek's, would allow the show to deal with the very common familial narrative of losing a parent. It could very well be her," states Bustle.
Unfortunately, "Parenthood" fans will have to wait until next year to watch the next all-new episode.
Season 6, Episode 10, of "Parenthood," "How Did We Get Here?" airs on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, on NBC.
