iPad Mini Holiday Deals 2014: Tablet Sales Available at Amazon, Best Buy and More for Various Models
The iPad Mini is the smaller version of the popular iPad series from Apple. It's still powerful and, now, it's affordable thanks to some holiday price slashing by retailers. Let's take a look at the iPad Mini deals currently going on.
Walmart has a 16 GB iPad Mini available for $219.99. This is a $249.99 value, but keep in mind that the model has no Retina display. Via the Walmart website, shoppers are able to either ship the iPad Mini to themselves for free or ship it to the nearest them store for free as well. This deal would be perfect for a first time iPad user or someone who will not be putting a lot of content onto their iPad.
Amazon has a 16 GB iPad Mini with Retina for as low as $268.20 with $5.22 shipping, or, if you have a Prime membership, $281.99.
If you need more space than just 16 GB and don't care too much about the Retina display, there are plenty of deals for you.
Amazon has a 32 GB first-gen Mini for $314.99 with free shipping. That's a $114.01 savings from the normal price.
If you want your iPad mini to work without WiFi, you will need to pay a little extra to get one that accepts a phone's SIM cards (available through Verizon, AT&T, Sprint or T-Mobile).
If you must have the beautiful Retina display on your screen, Best Buy and Amazon can help. For $349 at Best Buy an iPad Mini 3 (16 GB) can be had. This is a $50 savings.
Amazon might be able to beat that deal depending on where you live. Most Amazon users don't pay sales taxes on items, but depending on where they live, they may have to. The site is offering the same tablet starting at $365.99, but if there are no taxes so it might wind up cheaper than the Best Buy deal. Try adding the item to your Amazon cart and check to see if you will be charged tax.
Your mileage may vary depending on where you live -- always check with your store's websites and call first to make sure they have the item.
