Earlier this year, singer Luis Coronel was named one of the most influential artists under the age of 21 by Billboard. This is quite a feat for the young singer who only sings in Spanish, but he has proven to have a very loyal fanbase, which is something the 18-year-old artist has not taken for granted.

"It's nice to know that you have people's support," he said in an interview with Univision. "They're always there. The fans are always there supporting me. I wake up every morning say, 'Wow, what could my fans be up to.' So I head to Instagram, and they are there commenting."

To thank them for their support, Coronel makes sure to upload pictures to give his fans an update on his life.

When he's on stage, it's the smiles on the faces of the audience that make him the happiest.

"Being so young, what I most enjoy about fame is seeing people smile," he said. "It's what I most enjoy when I am on stage singing my music. I love it and I get very happy seeing the people singing and smiling."

This week Coronel released a new song for the holidays. "Feliz Navidad" is not a remake of the popular José Feliciano song. Instead, it is a ballad that talks about the true meaning of the holiday.

Coronel's fans are featured in the lyric video, and he is even seen giving one of his youngest fans a kiss on the cheek. He is also seen in a photo shoot, giving his followers a glimpse into other aspects of his life.

In November, Coronel talked about his goal of getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame but said that he's not really interested in fame, according to Vivelohoy.
