The nominees for the 72nd Annual Gold Globe Awards were announced Thursday morning.

In the film categories one title appears throughout: "Birdman." The movie by Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu has seven nominations, including Best Motion Picture (Comedy).

With five nominations each, "The Imitation Game" and "Boyhood," follow. Both films have also been nominated for Best Motion Picture (Drama).

The awards ceremony will take place on Jan. 11, 2015, and will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. It will air live on NBC from 8-11 p.m. (EST).

According to Huffington Post, one of the biggest snubs this year is "Unbroken." Angelina Jolie's film was not nominated for any SAG awards earlier, and now the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which organize and vote on the Golden Globes, also snubbed the film.

Meanwhile, "Interstellar" also only received one nomination for Best Score.
