'Glee' Season 6 Cast, Spoilers & Airdate: Lea Michele Sings 'Frozen' Tune 'Let It Go' in Final Season Promo, Will There be a Duet with Idina Menzel?
With New Year's around the corner, many go-getters are starting to come up with New Year's resolutions.
For "Glee" fans who're eagerly awaiting the two-hour premiere of "Glee" Season 6 on Jan. 9, one New Year's resolution might be to just "Let It Go" when it comes to any drama or negativity.
It looks like "Glee" fan favorite Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Berry, is doing just that and will also "Let It Go" as she sings Disney's "Frozen" tune in the Season 6 promo.
In the clip, Michele dons a beautiful white gown and belts out "Let It Go" and pours her heart and soul into the touching number.
In the meantime, many "Gleeks" are wondering if she will have a duet with "If/Then" headliner and beloved Broadway star, Idina Menzel, who plays Rachel's mother and is the voice of "Frozen's" Elsa.
"Frozen" was released on Nov. 22, 2013, and reportedly grossed $1.274 billion worldwide. It won two Oscars at the Academy Awards back in March: Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song (for "Let It Go").
Last time, Menzel, the "Wicked" and "Rent" star, was on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," she belted out "Let It Go," and the video went viral.
As far as "Glee" is concerned, after a tumultuous year coping with the loss of Finn (Cory Monteith), Rachel tries to salvage her reputation after quitting "Funny Girl" and returns to McKinley High where she and Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) will revive the disbanded Glee Club.
"Glee" returns on Jan. 9, 2015, with a two-hour premiere starting at 8/7c on FOX.
