Preview photos of the "Parenthood" milestone 100th episode reveal that things will get hot and steamy between Joel and Julia, while Zeek will suffer from a major health crisis.

Last month, the show's epic midseason finale, "Lean In," ended with a number of cliffhangers, including the status of Joel and Julia's tumultuous relationship.

Although Julia planned to force Joel to sign their divorce papers, the two ended up getting into an emotional conversation and subsequently making out. Julia's reluctance to close the door on her estranged husband also ruined her budding romance with Chris, who broke up with her once he realized she is still in love with Joel.

According to a snapshot for the next all-new episode, "How Did We Get Here?" Julia and Joel will do more than just make out that night. Instead, they wil take their emotions to the bedroom and end up sleeping together. In the photo, the couple is seen together in the same bed without wearing any clothing. Julia is also seen talking on the phone with a disconcerting facial expression.

"Lean In" also ended with a suspenseful cliffhanger about Zeek, who awoke from his sleep because of chest pains and was in need of an ambulance.

From the looks of other newly released photos published on TVLine, the Braverman clan will gather at the hospital in wake of Zeek's health scare.

Show creator Jason Katims also announced both the title and airdate of the show's upcoming series finale. After joining Twitter on Thursday, he posted his first tweet on Friday.

"Thank you to all the fans for 6 great seasons. Tune in to say goodbye to the Bravermans on 1/29. #ParenthoodFarewell," he said.

The title of the finale is "May God Bless and Keep You Always," a reference to the "Parenthood's" theme song by Bob Dylan.

Season 6, Episode 10 of "Parenthood," "How Did We Get Here?" airs on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, on NBC.
