'Hasta El Fin Del Mundo' Cast: David Zepeda Is Going to Focus on Music in 2015
David Zepeda may have jumped into "Hasta El Fin Del Mundo" when it was most necessary, but acting is not his passion.
Zepeda has revealed that in 2015, he will be focusing on music, according to Univision's "Hoy." Zepeda is already looking to what songs will be included in his new album, he said.
In 2013, he released his first album, and, for his second one, he is going big.
"It's great writers and composers that are going to be working on this album, and it's something that eternally fills me with excitement," he said.
Zepeda also said that the album will be balanced, as there will be pop songs, Latin fusion songs and ballads. He said there would be a few surprises as well.
He even has ideas for his third album. Although he would love to include duets in his upcoming album, he doesn't think it will be possible.
But he is trying not to get too ahead of himself.
"We've got to finish this one first," he said. "Maybe something will emerge."
In early November, the actor talked about being nervous to take on Pedro Fernandez's role in "Hasta El Fin Del Mundo."
"Even though several days have passed since Mr. Nicandro Diaz told me, I continue to be so nervous," he said, according to TV y Novelas. "It even seems like it's my first telenovela! Ever since he invited me to take on the role, I never hesitated."
He actually got his start in the late 1990s, and Diaz gave him one of his first jobs at Televisa in "Soy Tu Dueña" in 2010. From that experience, he learned how Diaz operated, so when this opportunity came around, he quickly signed on.
He decided to try not to worry about people comparing him to Fernandez.
"That's not in my hands," he said. "I have enormous respect for Mr. Pedro Fernandez and his fans. Each person has certain characteristics to take on a character, and if Nicandro has trusted me, then what I should do is work hard and trust in his team."
