We now know who will represent the NFL in the 2014-2015 NFL Playoffs. We also know which players carried their teams this season.

Let's take a closer look at how Week 17 affected Madden NFL 15 player ratings by team.

NFC:

Green Bay Packers: The Packers are in thanks to Aaron Rodgers, Eddie Lacy, Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb.

Rodgers, one of the NFL's premier passers has been dealing with a hamstring injury lately. Sunday, Rodgers had to sit out a series. After visiting the locker room for a short while, Rodgers returned and helped the Packers win the NFC North by defeating the Detroit Lions to secure the division title and a first round bye.

When Rodgers could not use his injured hamstring, he asked to operate solely out of the shotgun. Even so, the team was still able to give a heavy dose of Eddie Lacy. Lacy did fumble once in the game and nearly a second time. The back ran for exactly 100 yards on 26 carries.

Lacy is stuck at an 89 OVR and Madden 15 does not seem to believe in him. He should be around a 93 for his hard work and breaking tackle ability.

The Seattle Seahawks will get the second bye as well as homefield advantage throughout the NFC Playoffs.

The Carolina Panthers secured the 4th seed and a Wild Card game against the Arizona Cardinals. Cam Newton has struggled this season but still looks like a winner. He had no trouble destroying the Atlanta Falcons Sunday. Eighteen touchdowns is nothing amazing, but it got the Panthers to the postseason. Newton's Madden 15 OVR rating is 88, right where it should be.

The Dallas Cowboys will play the Lions in the first roud of the NFC Playoffs.

AFC:

New England Patriots: Tom Brady could not get any better or any worse in Week 17. That's because his team sat him. The Patriots have a first round bye and homefield advantage throughout the AFC Playoffs.

Denver Bronocs: Peyton Manning played well into the fourth quarter in his team's game. Manning was recently downgraded to a 97 OVR, but he deserves a 98 or 99 in this upcoming roster update. The Bronocs have a first round bye.

The Ravens and Steelers will play in Round 1.

The Colts and Bengals will play in Round 1.
