Selena Gomez Justin Bieber News Update 2013: Singers Back Together?
Is Selena Gomez back in the arms of Justin Bieber? Not likely, but if texting and calling are any indications of a rekindled romance then the two are definitely on the road to patching things up.
According to Hollywood Life, Justin has been texting and calling the "Come & Get It" singer relentlessly, and finally he received the reply he has been wanting. As a matter of fact, a source close to Gomez has revealed to the site that she has started taking his calls again.
"Justin is going hard to get her back. They weren't talking but he wore her down again and she's taking his calls again. She wants to keep it strictly friends, but it's a slippery slope on that because they have such intense chemistry, she's just built up walls to protect herself," the source told Hollywood Life.
Notably, it seems like Selena digs JB's new single "Heartbreaker", which is - according to Entertainmentwise - about the songstress herself. The 21-year-old singer even said in a radio interview that the new song is "beautiful."
"Honestly, I think it's beautiful music. Especially since he is super talented, able to use it and interpret feelings through music," Gomez told Kiss 98.5, notes Entertainmentwise. "It's what you do to grow as an artist, that's what I did and what many people do. It's sweet."
Hollywood Life also noted that Bieber in fact, sent a copy of the single to Selena months before he released it to the public. With lyrics like: "You say that you don't wanna talk, but it's cool. Been thinking about you all day long, hoping you'll pick up your phone...I know that I don't wanna lose your love" - there's no wonder Selena was impressed with JB's song writing skills.
"Justin has major game, he's good at saying all the right things," the source explained to Hollywood Life, adding that there could definitely be a chance for a reunion.
"I'd say there's a good chance they'll go for another round. Of course, all her friends are hoping she'll stay strong and keep him in the friend zone."
