Fan Who Kissed Enrique Iglesias in Concert Opens Up About Moment With 'Bailando' Singer [Video]
One long-time Enrique Iglesias fan got more than she could hope for during a concert in Colombia on Sunday.
The Spanish singer kissed one of his fans. A video shows a young woman kneeling to kiss Iglesias, and while she is shocked, Iglesias just smiles back at her.
The woman spoke to El Universal, according to La Opinion.
"I've been following Enrique since I was little, and I adore him," she said. "Thanks for that kiss because I love him, and he doesn't know how much effort I put into being here. I love him very much, and I will never forget that kiss."
Footage of Iglesias kissing the fan has been uploaded to YouTube.
According to Al Rojo Vivo, Iglesias was also recognized for his high sales in Ecuador, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Bolivia and Venezuela recently. He was seen posing with fans backstage as well.
In October, a video surfaced of Iglesias in concert, where many reported that he was drunk. He is seen holding a bottle, though it is not easy to tell if it's a liquor bottle.
A source said Iglesias had been drinking, reports La Opinion.
"Enrique was very happy and drunk," a source said. "He didn't care about anything. He just enjoyed the night."
Iglesias is not the only singer who has been affectionate toward his fans.
Romeo Santos recently went to the Dominican Republic, where he also kissed a fan. This time, it was Santos who was left surprised, as the fan responded to Santos' kiss by grabbing his crotch.
Earlier this month, Romeo Santos recently that he created a persona on stage to help him overcome his shyness and to appeal to his female followers.
"I wanted to show people I'm like a modern Romeo," he told Vulture. "I'm romantic, but I can also be seductive. I can be cool and charismatic, swagger-type. Onstage, I'm Romeo. That gave me confidence, self-esteem."
