LeBron James denied reports suggesting he would consider leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers again when he becomes a free agent in the offseason and reaffirmed his commitment to his hometown team.

Chris Haynes of Northeast Ohio Media Group recently reported James might bolt out of Cleveland again if the current situation will not improve following their disappointing start this season.

Talks regarding James' possible departure intensified as a video surfaced online, where the four-time Most Valuable Player allegedly told Dwyane Wade they will reunite again at some point.

When asked about the video showing him and Wade, James said he cannot remember his exact words after their Christmas Day match, but he is quite sure the conversation had nothing to do with basketball.

"I've seen the clip just like you've seen the clip," James said via ESPN. "I don't know exactly what I said at the beginning, either. I know I said, 'We'll get back together and do some bigger and better things,' but it had nothing to do about basketball."

James added, if he was talking about a possible reunion, he could have told Wade about it when he visited his former teammates' house the night before their highly anticipated match.

"If I was going to tell him that, I'd tell him the night before," James said. "Come on, guys. I'm not stupid. I know I didn't go to college, but I'm not stupid. I wouldn't say that on Christmas with a hundred cameras around. I would have told him the night before at his house."

The Cavaliers were considered as one of the strongest title favorites before the 2014-15 season started after James decided to leave Miami Heat and returned to Cleveland last summer.

However, the star-studded Cavaliers have yet to prove they are a force to reckon with this season. James and the Cavaliers are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings with their 18-14 record and have lost in their last three games, including against the Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks.

James said his patience is being tested this season and admitted his tolerance for patience is not that great. But the superstar forward reiterated he is committed to the Cavaliers and to their fans.

"I'm here to build something great in the present and in the future, and that's the reason I'm back," said James, who is averaging 25.2 points to go along with 7.6 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game this season. "I got no other reason to have to continue to talk about things that's so outlandish. I'm here. This is where I'll be, and this is where I'm comfortable at."
