Juliette will struggle with her transformation into a Hexenbiest and try to keep it a secret from Nick when NBC's "Grimm" returns with all-new episodes later this month.

The fall finale of "Grimm" ended with several shocking cliffhangers as Monroe was kidnapped by a Wesen hate group, Wu discovered that Wesen actually do exists and Juliette became a Hexenbiest, just like her archenemies Adalind.

During an interview with Zap2it, actress Bitsie Tulloch opened up about her characterJuliette, how she will cope with being a Hexenbiest and why she chooses to keep her boyfriend Nick in the dark about her dramatic transformation.

"[Becoming a Hexenbiest] is the last thing in the world she wants. It's hard enough for her being as involved as she is with the Grimm stuff," said Tulloch. "She's the kind of Wesen, or witch rather, that her boyfriend's fate is to kill them, so that's kind of scary and she's obviously going to try to hide it from him while she figures out how to correct it. She's obviously going to try to desperately get back to normal."

Although Tullock does not agree with Juliette's decision not to tell Nick, she said that she understands why she chooses to head down that path.

"They're so open and honest now, why not just tell him?" she said. "I think it's honestly just too shocking and too weird for her, and she's scared. She doesn't know. This isn't like anything, and they've dealt with so much, but this is not like anything they've ever gone through," she explains. "For the time being, I think she's not going to turn to her closest friends or Nick for help with this one. She's too scared of how they will react."

Tullock also teased that there will be an "epic" showdown between Juliette and Adalind, who is the reason why she turned into a Hexenbiest.

"There is a cat fight that is going to happen this season, and it is going to be epic. If not the biggest fight so far on any 'Grimm' episode, it's up there. [Juliette] just wants to kill [Adalind] at this point. Literally she wants to kill her. It's just so much," Tulloch says. "I think that [Adalind is] a great villain, but since Season 1 the fans have been desperately wanting Juliette to finally fight her head-to-head."

According to Dread Central, the next episode of "Grimm," which is titled "Wesenrein," will debut on Jan. 16. NBC also released an official synopsis, which reads:

"The Wesenrein act on their many threats against Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee's (Bree Turner) marriage.

"Meanwhile, Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) bring Wu (Reggie Lee) to a place where he's sure to find the answers he's looking for.

"Elsewhere, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) tries to come to grips with her new reality."

Season 4, Episode 9 of "Grimm," "Wesenrein," premieres on NBC on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, at 9 p.m. ET.
