Kristen Bell Post Pregnancy: Star Walks Red Carpet Three Weeks After Giving Birth
Actress Kristen Bell looked radiant as she walked the red carpet at the People's Choice Awards Wednesday night.
Following the arrival of their newest child just three weeks previously, she and her husband Dax Shepard looked like the perfect happy couple.
The couple walked down the red carpet at the 41st People's Choice Awards held in the Los Angeles and it did not look like they had just welcomed their second child only three weeks earlier. According to Us Weekly, the "Veronica Mars" actress wore a fuchsia knee-length Monique Lhuillier dress with silver heels.
"I believe it's our first [red carpet]," the 34-year-old star told Giuliana Rancic, from E! News, as they walked the red carpet. "I'm in a sleepy, sleepy daze so I'm not positive where I am right now."
She and Shepard, 40, welcomed their child, a daughter named Delta, on Dec. 19, according to PopSugar. She is the second after their daughter Lincoln, who turns 2 in March. Delta Bell Shepard has a very interesting name; the product of her father, according to Bell.
"Dax keeps picking these awesome names," she told Rancic, reports Us Weekly. "I so badly wanted to pick, but he threw Delta out there and we just knew it was right."
Talking about what is like to have a newborn at home, just like any other parents, the couple is exhausted. Since Lincoln is still a baby, Bell and Shepard have their hands full. At least they have some experience.
"It's the same amount of work because it's another baby," Bell said of Delta. "And you now what to expect."
"It's in theory it gets easier because you go through the rough time at once and then it's on autopilot. That's what we've been told and we're counting on it," dad Shepard added.
Although Shepard may know a thing or two about babies, he does not know much about fashion. When asked who or what he was wearing, he gave the most matter-of-fact answer.
"I'm in wool," he said, according to People. "My suit is by wool."
