'Minecraft' for PS4 & Xbox One Mods & Gameplay: YouTube User Creates Word Processor in Game, PlayStation 4 Update Arrives [Video]
Three weeks ago, to celebrate reaching 1,000 followers, "Minecraft" YouTuber Koala_Steamed decided to unveil a project for his subscribers. The massive project was created using redstone, but it was no HP farm; he created a word processor.
Although he or she published the video on Dec. 16, it has just begun to be noticed.
In the video description Koala_Steamed explains that no command blocks were used in the word processor.
"After almost 2 years working on this I finally have it finished! Well almost,” Koala_Steamed said. “Word processor that can load files from memory. [It] has uppercase, lowercase, numbers & symbols. Not the fastest of word processors but every single bit of data comes through a single line of redstone. I've also got plans to turn this into a working computer with an ALU and CPU.”
He or she also said they plan to add RAM to the word processor. If it succeeds Koala_Steamed will be able to save files inside a program that is run within an operating system.

Aside from creating interesting things within “Minecraft,” the game has proven to be one of the most popular topics on YouTube, which in part explains why Koala_Steamed showed his subscribers his “Minecraft” creativity. He or she is part of larger group of “Minecraft” YouTubers.
A new Google study shows that “Minecraft” and video game videos in general are the one of the most popular video topics on the video hosting site. It is the second-most searched-for topic on YouTube, and some gaming channels are some of the most subscribed ones with upwards of 10 million subscribers.
Also, it is now official -- you can try to build Koala_Steamed’s word processor on PlayStation 4, if you live in the U.S., as 4J Studios announced the update is available.
According to PlayStation LifeStyle, the update includes redstone, the key ingredient in the above-mentioned creation. It will also bring horses and withers to the game, among many other additions.
