Fox 'Bones' Season 10 Spoilers: Love May Be Underlying Theme for the Rest of the Full Episodes
Fans have to wait over two months for another all-new episode of "Bones," but there will be plenty to look forward to when the series returns to Fox in March.
In addition to new and thrilling adventures and conflict, Carter Matt reports there will be a lot of love in the rest of Season 10. That may be because the show writers decided to incorporate Emily Deschanel's real-life pregnancy into the show (and, as well all know, a new baby always brings lots of love).
"We are so happy for Emily," executive producer Stephen Nathan said in a statement. "As before, rather than try to hide this from a sophisticated audience, we are integrating her pregnancy into the show. Booth and Brennan, like most couples today, will continue to work, play and catch murderers -- maybe they're unique in this respect -- as their family grows. As with most new situations that have arisen in 10 years, we feel that this can only enhance the show. Although I'm sure there will be a vocal group of fans eager to attack me, I hope they will be pleasantly surprised by what we have in store."
However, love also has a way of bringing out the best in people, especially during trying times. That may explain the new set of challenges that Jack and Angela will face.
In a recent interview with TVLine, actor T.J. Thyne revealed that his character, Jack Hodgins, and Angela, played by Michaela Conlin, will face "a good amount of conflicts" in their relationship when the topic of spirituality vs. science comes up. The issue will arise after resident psychic Avalon Harmonia, played by returning guest star Cyndi Lauper, makes contact with the spirt of the late Dr. Sweets.
"It's an artist and a scientist making a life together," Conlin said. "That will always bring up some issues."
Meanwhile, Cam and Arastoo will come to a crossroads in their relationship when Arastoo decides to go back to Iran to take care of his brother and ends up as a political prisoner.
"He goes back because his brother is dying. That will come back in a very, very major way later on in the season," Nathan told TV Guide. "The only way he can leave is to solve a particularly sensitive murder, and of course he can't do it without help."
The next all-new episode of "Bones" is scheduled for Thursday, March 26 on Fox.
