While fans are anxiously waiting for his fourth studio album "Views From The 6" to be released sometime this year, Drake was spotted filming a new video in his home city Toronto over the weekend.

Several photos and tweets suggesting that the Toronto emcee was shooting some sort of footage in various locales have recently surfaced online. The members of forum Kanye To The posted their photographed evidence here.

One snapshot sees Drizzy and his longtime partner Oliver El-Khatib sitting together at a table in the Mercury Café.

Another image shows the "Hold On, We're Going Home" rapper and a few members of his OVO crew at the Morse Street area with a full production team surrounding them.

Eyewitnesses also took to Twitter to share what they saw:

Some speculated that on Saturday Drake was filming n an official music video for the next single off his upcoming "Views From The 6" record, a potential promo for his rumored mixtape or a visual for one of the tracks he dropped last year, like "Heat of the Moment" or "6 God."

However, representatives from OVO Sound recently revealed to XXL that the video content is actually intended for the "Started from the Bottom" hitmaker's forthcoming Australian tour.

Meanwhile, Drake is set to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, as well as the Governors Ball NYC Music Festival.
