Ghostface Killah appreciates Drake's "Wu Tang Forever," which appears on his third studio album, Nothing Was the Same. According to the legendary rapper, the song has helped keep the Wu-Tang movement alive.

During an interview with vladtv.com, Ghostface Killah explained how the single has brought younger audiences to Wu-Tang Clan shows.

"He did what he did," Ghostface Killah said when asked if he thought Wu-Tang has gained fans as a result of Drake referencing them in his song. "There's probably some fans that climbed on ... All through Europe, I had 9-year-old, 8-year-old babies that came to the shows knowing words. What Drake did, he just made the movement more bigger. So, I ain't turnin' down no fans. This is Wu-Tang Forever. He even said it... All he's doing is addin' on."

U-God, Masta Killa and Cappadonna have all recorded verses for the "Wu-Tang Forever" remix. Raekwon has yet to record his verse, but plans on doing so.

"I ain't get a chance to bust my joint off yet, but I talked to Drake and we're gonna get to it," Raekwon told MTV News. "It just was like, we were on the road, things were happening so quick. Some brothers were able to go in there and smash out, and unfortunately, I wasn't able to get there yet, but it's gonna happen though."

Inspectah Deck was supposed to appear on the unreleased remix as well, but he told HipHopDX that "he never made it on the song."

"When I finally got to hear the song, I was more or less like, 'Wow, I thought it was a tribute song like, it would be in respect of all eight members, and when I heard it, it was about a girl,'" Deck said. "... I'm saying that I disagree with the title of that song being 'Wu-Tang Forever' when it has no bearing on Wu-Tang Clan despite the fact that the 'It's Yourz' sample floatin' in the background. We sampled 'It's Yourz.' That's a sample. That's there for the taking. It's not like, 'Oh, he used y'all sample.' We both used T La Rock."

Despite the lack of Wu-Tang relevance, Raekwon still feels the love from Drake's track.

"Just to see that happenin' 20 years later in my run, on my walk, it's a beautiful thing," he said. "I'm not here to judge. I'm here to give homage. For me, that's a great thing because that's how I felt about the generation that did it before me; the G Raps, the Slick Ricks. I see them. I'm still in the zone. I'm still stuck. If I didn't watch that I wouldn't be who I am today, and it's just out of respect."

Drake is currently on his "Would You Like a Tour?" tour with Miguel and Future.
