NBC 'Grimm' Season 4, Episode 10 Spoilers: Silas Weir Mitchell Talks Monroe and Rosalee Ahead of 'Tribunal' Premiere [Watch]
The race to save Monroe from a vicious Wesen hate group will continue in this Friday's all-new episode of "Grimm."
In last week's winter premiere of "Grimm," Monroe was kidnapped and physically tortured by the Wesenrein, who also threatened to kill him because of his interspecies marriage and friendship with Nick. Meanwhile, Wu was formally introduced to the Wesen world, and Juliette struggled with her transformation into a Hexenbiest. She also neglected to tell Nick about her new transition, reports Entertainment Weekly.
In the next episode, "Tribunal," Monroe will be forced to face a Wesenrein tribunal, which may lead to his execution for his "impurities."
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, actor Silas Weir Mitchell opened up about Monroe, his fate and the anguish that his wife Rosalee would endure if he is indeed killed.
"I think Rosalee would just be completely devastated," Mitchell said. "With what she's been through in her life. I think it would be bad. I like to think that if Monroe doesn't make it, then Rosalee is going to go on a bender for the ages and she might not pull out. She's just gonna spiral."
He also teased that fans can expect to see "a lot of 'Hexenbiestiality,'" in the rest of Season 4.
"The Captain is a Zauberbiest, so it gets very tangled. More tangled than it's ever been, particularly in relationship to the Captain. He starts to play a major role. The Hexenbiest thing starts to take center stage for a while," he said.
When asked if Monroe and Rosalee will ever get a chance to go on their highly anticipated honeymoon, Mitchell said, "That's a good question. They're going to get as much as they can out of that one. They're going to milk that one and then maybe it'll pay off. ... We'll see what happens."
Mitchell told TVLine fans will "see a piece of [the honeymoon] in a sort of funny way. But we didn't go to, you know, Antigua. Unfortunately."
The actor also talked about how Monroe perceives his imprisonment by the Wesen.
"Other than fear of death, [he's considering] the ludicrous nature of these hate groups and how far they go in their hatred and racism. Underneath Monroe's fear is the sense of how pathetic these types of groups and these types of people are -- almost an incredulousness about the lengths these people go to dress up their sicknesses."
In wake of Friday night's episode, NBC released a sneak peak of Hank schooling Wu on what to expect now that he knows that Wesen are real.
According to Dread Central, the synopsis reads as follows:
"After Monroe's (Silas Weir Mitchell) abduction by the Wesenrein, Nick (David Giuntoli) gathers the whole team, including Wu (Reggie Lee), to track him down and return him to Rosalee (Bree Turner). As the search intensifies, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) learns more about her new reality as a Hexenbiest."
Season 4, Episode 10 of "Grimm," "Tribunal," premieres on NBC on Friday, Jan. 23, at 9 p.m. ET.
