Galaxy Note 4 vs iPhone 6 Specs: Samsung Releasing Faster Version of Phablet Version With Better Camera Than Apple iPhone 6 Plus
Samsung called the Galaxy Note 4 the "single best big phone you can buy in 2014." Now, the company is trying to make the phone even better. A new version, to debut this week in South Korea, of the Galaxy Note 4 will make the phablet (phone/tablet) even faster, especially its LTE speeds.
Reuters reports the latest Note 4 will be able to handle LTE speeds up to 450Mbps, which is really fast for a smartphone. In addition, the new Note 4 will have an Exynos 5433 process inside but look identical on the outside, Design Trend reports. This processor is what will make the new Note 4 capable of those blazing fast speeds. Samsung will produce its own processor rather than relying on one from Qualcomm.
Korean wireless company SK Telecom will be the first to get the new Galaxy Note 4, which for now is being called the Note 4 S-LTE.
Meanwhile, Samsung is taking pressure from Apple's bigger-screened phones, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, according to Reuters.
Still, Samsung may be able to convince some of those Apple fans to shift over to their big-screened phone because the Note 4 offers a ton of features the iPhone does not, BGR reports.
Screen:At 5.7 inches, this beats the iPhone 6 Plus' 5.5-inch display.
Camera: Sixteen MP on the Note 4 doubles the iPhone 6 Plus' 8 MP camera.
Video Resolution: The Note 4 can support 4K video. The iPhone 6 Plus can only support 1080p video.
Battery: A 3,220 MAH battery is included in the Note 4, and there is only a 2,915 MAH battery in the iPhone 6 Plus. Additionally, with fast charging from the Note 4, you can go from 0 to 50 percent battery life in just 30 minutes.
With a better screen, a better camera and a better battery the Note 4 sure looks like the better device, and now Koreans are getting an even faster Note 4. There is no word on when the latest Note 4 will arrive in North America, but it would be smart for Samsung to bring this super-fast phablet to stay in competition with Apple.
