The newlywed actress Christina Ricci finally revealed the photos of her stunning Givenchy wedding dress on her Twitter page, three days after her wedding.
Previously engaged to "Sullivan & Son" actor Owen Benjamin, the "Addams Family" child star is now married to a new man of her life, James Heerdegen. Ricci met her husband on the set of 2011's cancelled TV series, "Pan Am," where her husband worked as a camera technician and dolly grip. The couple then confirmed their engagement in February.
The pair's intimate wedding ceremony took place on Saturday at a mansion built in 1919-20, Harold Pratt House And Peterson Hall, on Manhattan's Upper East Side at the Southwest corner of Park Avenue and 68th Street.
At 7 p.m., the close friends and family members gathered to celebrate the special night and enjoy a cocktail hour before joining Mr. Heerdegen and Mrs. Heerdegen for their nuptial ceremony. The evening's festivities continued with dinner and lots of dancing, as well as a candy table served from Economy Candy.
Christina Ricci took Twitter to share her pictures of her in amazing Givenchy haute couture gown with a following caption, "I'm sorry I have to share what @riccardotisci made for me!!" along with the hashtag, "#iloveyouricky!"
One of her photos was taken in front of a floor-to-ceiling window with Manhattan as its background. Ricci looked gorgeous in her white silk tulle dress, which had a high neck and long, dramatic train. The couture gown had elbow-length sleeves with uniquely cutout shoulders, and featured Chantilly lace appliqué and satin piping. The dress was detailed with micro pearls that were embroidered all over the dress.
The actress wore her dark brunette hair neatly into a bun, with a long and flimsy lace veil. She carried a bouquet of autumnal flowers.
Christina Ricci joked on Twitter that she wished her dog could have witnessed the beautiful moment, "My only regret was Karen's absence."
