Nokia's first tablet is scheduled to debut this month and a price discount has reportedly been offered for U.S. consumers.

In an exclusive report, WPCentral received an image from a Verizon retail store regarding the Nokia Lumia 2520's price.

Initially, Nokia had revealed the price of the tablet at $499. According to one Verizon store, the tablet will be offered $100 less than Nokia's suggested retail price.

The report showed the Lumia 2520 could be purchased during Black Friday for $399.99 as long as the consumer signs a two-year agreement with Verizon Wireless.

The Lumia 2520 features a screen size of 10.1 inches with 1,920x1,080 resolution and at 218 pixels per inch. The Lumia 2520 is available in a 32GB internal storage model with 2GB of RAM. The tablet is equipped with a microSD card slot for an additional 32GB of memory.

In regards to the Lumia 2520's camera specifications, it may be better than Apple's iPad Air. The Lumia 2520 has a rear-facing photography camera with 6.7 megapixels at 3,088x1,744 pixels and a front-facing camera with 2 megapixels.

Finally, the Lumia 2520 utilizes the Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 quad-core 2.2GHz Krait 400 processor.

The Lumia 2520 will also be available with fellow U.S. mobile carrier AT&T, however, it is unknown if they will also reduce the tablet's price for the holiday occasion.

The Lumia 2520 is scheduled to start its rollout in the U.S., United Kingdom, and Finland during the fourth quarter.
