NBC 'Grimm' Season 4, Episode 12 Spoilers: Wesen Bounty Hunter Targets Nick in 'Marechaussee;' Showdown Between Juliette and Adalind [Watch]
This Friday's all-new episode of "Grimm" will be intense as a wesen bounty hunter puts a hit on Nick.
The trailer video for the next episode, which is entitled "Marechaussee," reveals that a dangerous bounty hunter will threaten to hurt Juliette in order to get to Nick.
NBC also released teaser videos from the upcoming episode. In one clip, Nick, Hank and Wu turn to Monroe and Rosalee for help in tracking down a manticore. That's when they learn that he is working as a bounty hunter for the Wesen Council and is on a mission to kill wesen who violate wesen law.
In another clip, Nick, Hank, and Wu investigate the murders of a pair of fortune tellers.
According to Dread Central, official synopsis for "Marechaussee" reads as follows:
"Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) investigate a series of murders that lead back to the Wesen Council and a mysterious bounty hunter (guest star Arnold Vosloo).
"Elsewhere, Juliette's (Bitsie Tulloch) meeting with Henrietta (guest star Garcelle Beauvais) brings about more disturbing news than she was expecting.
"Meanwhile, Adalind (Claire Coffee) and Viktor (guest start Alexis Denisof) make their way back to Portland. Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, and Bree Turner also star."
"Grimm" star Bitsie Tulloch also recently openly up about Juliette's unexpected transformation into a Hexenbiest and her decision to confide in Capt. Sean Renard, while keeping her boyfriend Nick in the dark. She also teased the highly anticipated showdown between Juliette and Adalind later on in the season.
According to Tulloch, Juliette decided to confide in someone who could relate to her situation, which is why she turned to Sean.
"She needed to go to somebody who had the same affliction, so to speak -- and the only person who really understood her is Sean Renard," said the actress to Entertainment Weekly. "And they have a little bit of a history because of everything that happened in season two with the love triangle, and they're close enough that she would go to him.
"She wanted to go to him anyway, because she's sort of blaming him indirectly because it was his mother who set the ball rolling on this whole issue with the Hexenbiest," she added.
Renard's mom "is the one who did the spell, and she had warned Juliette and everybody else that there might be side effects. But obviously Juliette would never have ever done this if she had known she was going to turn into a Hexenbiest. She did it because she thought her lover, Nick, would be happier getting his powers back, and she also did it more immediately because Rosalee and Monroe were being threatened. But at the end of the day, it just completely uprooted her entire existence. She doesn't even know who she is anymore. So she goes to Sean being like, 'Your mom did this, call her and have her fix this.'"
Tulloch also dropped spoilers about the Adalind and Juliette face-off.
"The thing that all the fans have been waiting for, for four years, is a catfight between Adalind and Juliette. How great is that going to be when it's Hexenbiest on Hexenbiest? That'll happen, and that'll be awesome."
She continued saying, "Adalind has been making Juliette's life miserable since season one. She's not just your gun-toting veterinarian who's threatening but maybe not that threatening-now she's über threatening and dangerous."
In addition, she teased that "Juliette isn't going to be able to keep her secret from Nick forever. It's pretty dramatic when he finds out."
"Grimm" Season 4 Episode 12, "Marechaussee," airs on Friday, Feb. 6 on NBC.
