Jailed "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice is reportedly proving to be quite popular at the Danbury Federal Prison, where other inmates have taken quite warmly to her Italian-spiced cooking.

The 42-year-old Giudice recently landed a job in the facility's kitchen, making it easier for her to whip up her dishes "with whatever ingredients she can find," according to the New York Daily News.

Giudice has also reportedly joined a TV watching club, with such shows as "Empire," "Scandal" and "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" being among the group's most popular

Jail officials have been overwhelmed by the steady stream of fan mail Giudice is receiving from supportive followers, a source said.

"She (is reading) them," a source said. "She isn't writing back, though; she doesn't have the time."

Giudice's husband, Joe Guidice, 42, and her four daughters, aged 13, 10, 8 and 4, have all visited her on several occasions. The reality TV star has about 10 months remaining on her 15-month sentence for a fraud conviction based on her and Joe's failure to pay more than $200,000 in taxes.

Once Giudice has completed her sentence, her husband is scheduled to begin serving his far more lengthier sentence. Joe has had to receive special had to permission from authorities to visit his wife because he already has a criminal record. RadarOnline recently reported the couple cannot "hug or hold" one another when they are able to visit and are allowed to only get "one kiss in coming and one kiss leaving."

Giudice is hoping to be released early for good behavior and be home with her family around Christmas after serving roughly 85 percent of her sentence.

Creators of the "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" have elected to pull the show from the Bravo Network lineup until Giudice is able to return.
