"Empire," the new drama series on Fox that gives viewers an inside look into the music industry from a fictional lens, has been causing quite a stir as the show's rising viewership has broken records since its debut in January.

On Wednesday, Fox will debut Episode 6, entitled "Out, Damned Spot," which will featured several guest stars, including Courtney Love.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Love will guest star in one of "the season's juiciest episodes" yet. The rock legend will play a signed Empire artist who has not produced a hit song in years. However, "she'll find an ally in Cookie, who's on edge once she finds out about Lucius's impending marriage to Anika," reports EW.

"Plus, someone in the family finally discovers the secret about Bunkie, and the question is who he/she will tell first once the secret's out!" the magazine explained.

Fans can also expect to see more of Jennifer Hudson and Rita Ora on the show.

"I'm so excited!" said actress Taraji P. Henson about Hudson's appearance on the show.

Unfortunately, Henson's character, Cookie, will not cross paths with Mary J. Blige, who will appear on the show in flashbacks.

"They're trying to keep us separated!" Henson says of not working with her real-life bestie, reports E! News.

Fox 50 reports that the synopsis for "Out, Damned Spot," reads as follows:

"Lucious asks Cookie to manage Elle Dallas (guest star Courtney Love), Empire Entertainment's first label star, who hasn't produced an album in years. Meanwhile, Vernon is caught in the middle of a very sticky situation. Then, as Jamal rises to stardom, his newfound drive and ambition stirs up trouble in his relationships. To make matters worse, a mystery woman (guest star Raven-Symoné) from the family's past shows up with a huge surprise. Also, Lucious hires Malcom (guest star Derek Luke) to be the new head of security at Empire Entertainment."

"Empire" episode 1.6, "Out, Damned Spot," will air Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 9 PM EST on FOX.
